Civil society organizations and the Guinean Bar Association are demanding an independent investigation and a re-examination to determine the true cause of death of General Sadiba Coulibaly, the former Chief of Staff of the Guinean Army, who passed away on Saturday.

These organizations believe there are unclear aspects in the autopsy conducted by the military tribunal, which had previously sentenced him to five years in prison for desertion, illegal possession of weapons, and endangering state security.
