In Mali, out of the 11 opposition leaders arrested last week, 10 will be presented to the justice system this Monday. Notably, former Minister of Justice Mohamed Ali Bathily has been released, benefiting from his status as a lawyer.
After being questioned by the Judicial Investigation Brigade, the other political party leaders are being prosecuted for holding what is described as a “clandestine” meeting. This occurs amid a two-month suspension of political parties and associations’ activities.
