The trial of General Sadiba Koulibaly, former number two in the ruling junta, opened yesterday Thursday before the military criminal court of Conakry.
This former chief of general staff of the armed forces is accused of desertion abroad and illegal possession of weapons.
In court, the officer refuted the accusations against him, rather accusing the head of the Guinean diplomacy and certain army officers of being behind his arrest.
