The Ivorian opposition has rejected the adoption of a bill amending the penal code.
This is after the country’s Members of Parliament adopted the text submitted by the Ivorian executive last week.
While speaking to the press at the end of the week, the PPACI, the party of former President Laurent Gbagbo, accused the government of “wanting to muzzle the opposition and dissenting voices.”
