The organized labour unions in Nigeria have suspended an indefinite strike they embarked upon on Monday to protest the hike in electricity tariff and disagreement over the new national minimum wage.
Secretary to the government of the Federation and other top government functionaries had met with the union leaders last night and earlier today to prevail upon them to call off the strike.
