The Union of Press Professionals is stepping up in Guinea after the withdrawal of the licenses of three (3) private media houses in the country.
The SPPG considers this decision of the transitional authorities illegal, stating that it violates the law, which the communication authority reacts to.
The union announced that it has already contacted the National Confederation of Workers of Guinea with a view of launching a national and prolonged strike throughout the public and private administration, to demand the restoration of the licenses of these media organizations.
Meeting on Monday, the union of press professionals in Guinea looked into the withdrawal of the licenses of the Djoma, Espace and FIM FM press groups.
