The Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights OHCHR has called on African governments to take the issue of migration seriously.
The office also called on stakeholders to strengthen the advocacy for legal migration in Africa.
These remarks were made by Benjamin Hounton, the Deputy Regional Representative of the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights OHCHR, West Africa Regional Office during a side event at the NGOs Forum in Banjul.
