Senegalese Head of State Bassirou Diomaye Faye is expected in Guinea Bissau today, Tuesday on a friendly working visit.
In a press release, the Government Information Office points out that this trip follows on from the President’s first trips to Mauritania and Gambia.
According to the same source, Diomaye Faye’s latest trip is part of a drive to strengthen the historic ties of good neighbourliness and socio-cultural cross-fertilization between Senegal and its neighbours.
Senegal and Guinea-Bissau enjoy cooperative relations in several areas, including security, culture and fisheries.
