Women farmers in Nigeria are urging governments at all levels to prioritize agriculture development and address insecurity in farming communities by halting all non-essential spending.  

At a press conference in Abuja, representatives from the Small-Scale Women Farmers organization emphasized the need for immediate action to mitigate the impact of escalating economic challenges, food crises, and high food inflation on smallholder women farmers nationwide.
