The United States will soon be withdrawing its troops stationed in Niger.

The withdrawal plan was part of America’s response regarding the cancellation of the military cooperation agreement between Niamey and Washington by General Abdourahmane Tiani’s government DC last week

These military cooperation agreements were signed in July 2012 under the regime of former president Mahamadou Issoufou.
