The Burkinabe authorities have announced the commencement of National Days of Patriotic Commitment and Citizen Participation, starting today, March 26th.

Introduced by transitional President Captain Ibrahim Traore, these days are designed to reaffirm national identity and honor the legacy of Captain Thomas Sankara.

The initiative is slated to run for 15 days and will be repeated on October 2nd, 2024.
