The Supreme State Control Authority of Burkina Faso has flagged irregularities in the procurement of firearms.
Out of 14 contracts scrutinized by the body responsible for overseeing institutional management, 8 were found to be irregular.
In response to this revelation, Minister for Defence General Kassoum Coulibaly outlined the significance of armaments, stating that they are not items that can be acquired casually.
