The Sierra Leonean government and the Republic of China, have signed beneficial agreements on infrastructure, education, agriculture and a 9 million US dollar financial aid.
Freetown and Beijing reached these agreements during President Julius Maada Bio’s state visit to Chinese President Xi Jinping.
The countries have a long-standing relationship that was deepened during Sierra Leone’s fight against the deadly Ebola virus and COVID-19 pandemic.
