United States authorities have reported that witness accounts suggest the helicopter crash near the Nevada border in California on Friday.
The crash that claimed the lives of Access Holdings Plc’s Group Chief Executive Officer, Herbert Wigwe, his wife, son, and former Group Chairman of the Nigerian Exchange Group, Abimbola Ogunbanjo, occurred during rainy conditions.
The tragic incident has prompted tributes from prominent Nigerians, including former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, Peter Obi, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, Femi Otedola, ministers, governors, and others.
Michael Graham, a representative of the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB), addressed the press on Sunday.
