Hundreds of people converged on the Malian capital Bamako to express their satisfaction with the country’s withdrawal from the regional powerhouse ECOWAS.

Several young people took part in the rally, which was organized by the transitional authorities.

This display of support for the Junta comes just a few days after the members of the Alliance of Sahel States cancelled their membership with the bloc.
