This edition takes us to South Eastern Nigeria where we will be looking at a festival which is a customary obligation for the Igbo people – The Ofala Festival!
This festival, also known as the King’s Festival, is deeply rooted in Spirituality.
It is a period for monarchs to showcase their traditions in Igboland and offer thanks to the ancestors, for sparing the lives of the people and allowing a successful planting season.
