The Nigerian, army’s report on neutralizing over six thousand terrorists and members of the armed groups in 2023.

Edward Buba, director of media relations at the Nigerian Ministry of Defense, in a statement released on Monday, said a significant successes recorded by Nigeria in 2023 in the fight against armed groups and terrorists.

Buba underlined that, 6,970 terrorists and members of armed groups were arrested, and 3,320 weapons and ammunition were seized during operations carried out throughout the country.

According to him The main security threats in Nigeria in 2023 were terrorism, armed attacks, kidnappings, oil theft, separatist provocations and conflicts between farmers and herders.
