Nigeria’s President Bola Tinubu has been appointed the new chair of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) during the 63rd Ordinary Session of the Authority of Heads of State and Government held in Guinea-Bissau.
This endorsement marks President Tinubu’s entrance into the prestigious group of West African Heads of State.
Tinubu graciously accepted the honour on behalf of Nigeria, pledging to assume the responsibilities of the position and ensure an inclusive administration for the regional organization.
