The Association of Senegalese Women Lawyers recently celebrated 50 years of advocating for women’s rights and empowerment.

The group, part of a larger movement that includes NGOs, government bodies, and other organizations, has played a leading role in protecting and promoting women’s rights in Senegal.

Their anniversary event was a chance to look back on the progress they’ve made and to focus on future steps in the ongoing fight for gender equality
