Burkinabé soldiers have managed to put out about fifteen terrorists, led by the executive of the so-called Support Group for Islam and Muslims (GSIM), Sangaré Boukary, alias Abou Fadima, in the locality of Kossi.
Just after the attack carried out by the GSIM terrorist group on July 25, 2024, in the village of Koury in the commune of Sono, Kossi province; the defense and security forces (FDS) and the Volunteers for the Defense of the Homeland (VDP) responded promptly. Thus, thanks to their determination and commitment, the fighting forces managed to kill fifteen criminals, including the terrorist leader Sangaré Boukary alias Abou Fadima, actively sought for some time.
Originally a livestock dealer, Sangaré Boukary first established relations with terrorists active in a neighboring country in Burkina Faso before starting to deliver fuel and communication credits to them.
Abou Fadima is also involved in the attacks in the city of Nouna, precisely against the Territorial Brigade of the Gendarmerie of Djibasso, the village of Bourasso but also the GARSI of Barani.
