After being in the works for over a decade, Ghana’s Affirmative Action Bill has been passed.
The bill to promote and progressively increase women’s active participation in public life, with a target of achieving at least 30% female representation by 2030, in alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
On today’s edition of 50-50 we’ll hear views of Affirmative Action Coalition and other women’s rights advocates and groups on what this bill means to the quest to have gender parity.
