The World Bank and the United Nations (UN) have pledged additional aid to push forward Ghana's COVID-19 vaccine rollout and economic recovery.
Operations manager of the international financial institution Agata Pawlowska noted that her organization is prepared to finance more than 200 million U.S. dollars for existing pandemic relief programs in Ghana.
The bank has so far supported Ghana with a total of 235.8 million dollars in COVID-19 epidemic prevention and control and just approved a 100 million-dollar project for social protection, educational support, and skills development, through the ongoing programs.
