West Africa Democracy Radio (WADR) General Manager, Agnes Thomas, has urged governments, civil society, and media professionals to take a comprehensive approach to addressing climate change.
Speaking at the closing of a two-day media summit in Dakar, Senegal, she highlighted radio’s role in climate advocacy while stressing the need for strong environmental policies and community-focused solutions.
The summit, organized by the African Union of Broadcasting in collaboration with the UN Disaster Risk Reduction (UNDRR), underscored the importance of media in climate action.
