The West African Network for Aedes Surveillance and Control (WAASuN) is holding its 4th Annual Meeting in the Senegalese Capital, Dakar, Senegal.
The five-day event which began Monday, June 24, saw in attendance over 90 entomologists and public health practitioners representing 16 countries in the West African subregion.
As Rose Samara Kate reports, WAASun’s main objective is to strengthen existing links in Aedes surveillance within the region and strengthen the capacity of member countries in outbreak preparedness.
