Ghanaian citizens studying in Ukraine, have described as rushed and unfair, the decision by the medical and dental council, of Ghana not to recognize online medical and dental certificates issued by Ukrainian institutions for 2022.

It follows concerns by the medical and dental council that some students were undergoing online training in medicine and dentistry in Ukraine, and China among other places.

The council adds that such online training falls short of acceptable professional training standards and therefore will not be recognized.

Secretary of the association Prince Danso Tenakwah, tells Ghana’s correspondent, Eric Mawuena Egbeta that students cannot be punished for the decision of their institutions.
