Two parliamentary committees of the Gambian National Assembly have commenced public hearings over a tax evasion and bribery allegation of up to 30 million dollars.

The investigation by the Joint Committee on Finance and Public Accounts and Public Enterprise Committee targets three companies for the sale of over 36,950 metric tons of petroleum products.
