In Burkina Faso, thirty people were killed Wednesday, not far from the town of Markoye in the Sahel region.

They were 15 soldiers, 11 civilians and 4 volunteers for the defense of the country.

The Minister Delegate in charge of National Defense confirmed the information Thursday.
