The African Development Bank (AfDB), pledged a billion-dollar fund aimed at expediting climate financing for emerging African enterprises.

The announcement was made Wednesday during a panel discussion held on the sidelines, of the African summit on climate, in Nairobi Kenya.

In addition, the President of AfDB, Akinwumi Adesina, urged young entrepreneurs and enterprises to submit inventive proposals and business concepts capable of enhancing adaptation and resilience to climate change throughout the continent.
