Health authorities in Senegal have launched a program empowering adolescents to tackle sexual violence against girls.
Held in Dakar, the seminar brought together youth voices to shape strategies addressing abuse and assault.
Led by the Ministry of Health’s Directorate of Maternal and Child Health, the initiative aims to give young people a central role in policy and advocacy.
Maguette Dia Niane, head of the Adolescents Division, emphasized the need for youth-led approaches in ending gender-based violence.
