Six people were killed on Saturday in the explosion of a public transport bus which hit an improvised explosive device, on the Konna-Sevaré axis, in central Mali.
According to sources speaking to Anadolu Agency, manager of Nour Transport Voyageur confirmed the incident adding that all those killed were men, adding that those injured had been admitted to the Sominé Dolo hospital in Sévaré.
The Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure of Mali did not communicate on the incident, however it is well known that since 2012, Mali has been facing a security crisis fueled by separatist claims and terrorist attacks, particularly in the north and center of the country.
