Sierra Leonean Lawmakers have commenced debates on the country's Public Elections Bill 2022 which seeks to repeal and replace the 2012 Public Elections Act. 

As WADR’s Patrick Sallia reports from Freetown, the draft law looks at the continuation of the functions of the country’s Electoral Commission, registration and eligibility of voters, as well as the procedures of voting and nomination of candidates, among others.
