Sierra Leone’s Anti-Corruption Commission has confirmed the indictment of Dr. Samura Kamara, presidential candidate of the All People’s Congress in the 2018 election.
Five other people have been accused of corruption.
Dr. Kamara is believe to be the frontrunner to lead the main opposition All People’s Congress party in the 2023 presidential election.
They are charged with various counts bordering on corruption involving the country’s chancery building in New York.
Mr. Patrick Sande is the spokesperson for the anti-corruption commission.
