Senegal’s President Macky Sall in a cabinet reshuffle over the weekend sacked nearly a dozen ministers’ hours after he appointed Amadou Ba as prime minister of the republic.
Ba, who was appointed earlier Saturday, has already announced a new 38-member Cabinet.
A statement on national television announced the appointment of Sidiki Kaba as head of the armed forces, Amadοu Mοustapha Ba, minister of finance and budget while Aissata Tall Sall, retains her portfolio as the foreign affairs minister.
