The Director General of the Senegalese Police, Mame Seydou Ndour, is set to embark on a historic visit to Banjul from January 7–11, 2025.
Announced by the Gambia Police Force (GPF) on Monday, this trip marks the first official visit of a Senegalese police chief to The Gambia since 1994. It underscores a renewed commitment to strengthening bilateral ties and enhancing regional security cooperation between the neighboring countries.
General Ndour, accompanied by a high-level delegation, will engage in strategic meetings with Gambian officials and explore collaborative opportunities in shared areas of interest, according to a statement from the GPF.
