The Senegalese authorities have set up a commission of legal, tax, and energy sector experts to review its oil and gas contracts.

The commission is charged with the responsibility to work and rebalance the listed sectors in the national interest.

This commission was announced by Senegalese Prime Minister Ousmane Sonko on national television on Monday.
