The government of Senegal on Tuesday addressed some pressing issues in the country. 

Among the challenges discussed was the concerning issue of irregular migration, which has tragically resulted in the loss of numerous lives over the past two months.

The government addressed the decision to lift the police cordon around the residence of opposition politician Ousmane Sonko, as well as measures related to flood management in the country.
