A national forum on peace and security has wrapped up in Dakar, Senegal, bringing together youth from various organisations.
Held under the theme “Human Rights During Armed Conflict,” the forum addressed growing regional threats highlighted in a new report by the Timbuktu Institute.
Participants stressed the role of youth in preventing conflict and promoting national unity.
Organisers say the event marks a step toward stronger civic engagement in Senegal’s peacebuilding efforts.
