The Senegalese Minister of Justice has clarified the case of Juan Branco, the Franco-Spanish lawyer of Senegalese opposition figure Ousmane Sonko.

An international arrest warrant had been issued for the lawyer, who was arrested on Sunday and charged but was finally released.

Ismael Madio Fall, the Minister of Justice, also spoke about the hunger strike by Senegalese opposition figure Ousmane Sonko, who has been in prison.
