In Senegal, opposition parties have rejected the outcomes of the recently concluded national dialogue on political reform.

The dialogue, which ended Wednesday, saw participation from over 800 political and civil society representatives, with most proposals adopted.

However, key opposition groups—who boycotted the talks—say they do not recognise the legitimacy or conclusions of the forum.

Their stance raises questions about consensus ahead of potential constitutional or electoral reforms.
