Security forces in Niger Republic have used tear gas to repress a Students' demonstration at the University of Zinder leading to hospitalization of some of them with respiratory complications.
The Students were said to be out on Monday protesting among other things, over ten months of scholarship arrears as well as the 2021 Social Assistance arrears payment.
