The Alliance of Sahel States (AES) is gearing up for a crucial ministerial meeting on Thursday 15th January, 2025, to advance its development agenda.
Central to the discussions is the establishment of an investment bank for AES member states Mali, Burkina Faso, and Niger aimed at driving regional growth and financial collaboration.
Ahead of the conference, Mali’s Minister of Economy and Finance convened a meeting with AES experts to review priority actions under the “Development Pillar.” These efforts are expected to lay the groundwork for sustainable development and economic resilience across the Sahel region.
