The Nigeria Government says it will commence the citizens fleeing Ukraine from Poland today.
A Ministry of Foreign Affairs official, Bolaji Akinremi, disclosed that the flight earlier scheduled for Thursday was postponed due to a delay in preparing passengers for the check-in process.
Usman Ummar reports that about 2,000 Nigerians have fled Ukraine to neighboring Poland, Hungary, Slovakia, and Romania in the wake of the outbreak of the Russia-Ukrainian war.
