In Ghana, a Member of Parliament for North has traveled to Romania to meet with Ghanaian students who have escaped the war in Ukraine. 

Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa who belongs to the largest opposition political party, the National Democratic Congress, has been critical of the government’s handling of the evacuation of citizens in troubled Ukraine with many now describing his travel as a political propaganda against the state.
