A report presented on the state of human rights in the West African sub-region during the NGOs Forum in Banjul, Gambia’s capital on Monday states that the bloc is losing grounds on human rights issues.
They accused the regional leaders of narrowing the civic space while expressing concerns on terrorist groups.
The human rights defenders also accused the leaders of the region for overstay in power creating an avenue for unconstitutional change of power
