Burkina Faso’s new Prime Minister Lassina Zerbo has appointed a new government with a reduced cabinet.

The new government comprises 25 ministers, down from the previous 30 ministers.

Six women are also listed in the new cabinet.

Zerbo was announced last week following the dismissal of his predecessor over inability to tackle worsening insecurity in the country.
