Ghana’s Electoral Commission (EC), on the eve of the voters’ exhibition exercise, has released the provisional voters register after intense pressure on the commission. 

The voters’ exhibition, begins across the country from Tuesday, 20th August, to Tuesday, 27th August 2024, with the aim of affording voters the opportunity to crosscheck their names and voting centres. 

However, there have been concerns that only the major opposition party, the NDC, has access to the provisional voter register aside from the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP), leaving.  leaving other political parties questioning the fairness and transparency of the compiled register.
