A notorious bandit leader, Bello Turji in Zamfara State, North Western Nigeria, has released over 60 kidnapped victims, following military raids on neighboring bandit camps in Zamfara and Sokoto forests.

The notorious bandit kingpin who was reportedly the mastermind of killings and kidnappings in Shinkafi, Sabon Birni, in both states was said to have released the victims unconditionally.
