In Burkina Faso, the permanent secretariat of the National Council for Emergency Relief and Rehabilitation says there are over 1.5 million internally displaced persons (IDPs) in Burkina Faso as of December 31, 2021.
Many of these IDPs are children who represent 61.66%. Women are estimated at 22.34% and men 16%.
