In Niger, a member of the gendarme was arrested on Tuesday after he robbed a money transfer agency in the "Escadrille" district of Niamey.
He had, at gun point, taken away the sum of 815,000 FCFA, from a cashier at the money transfer agency before a cry for help attracted the attention of passers-by who called on the police.
