The lack of proper enforcement of domestic laws is said to be fueling the increasing spate of insecurity and other forms of crisis in Nigeria. 

Abubakar Monguno, a University teacher with the University of Maiduguri, North Eastern Nigeria, who is also the Director of the Centre for Disaster Risk Management at the University, made this assertion in a chat with WADR in Maiduguri.
